CONFERENCES, TRAINING DAYS & LECTURES 2009
Continuing Professional Development Opportunities for Anyone Working to Improve Child and Adolescent Emotional Well-being
Statutory PSHE... Well-being... Every Child Matters... Early Years Foundation Stage... Emotional and Social Development... Child Protection... Common Assessment Framework... National Healthy School Standard... SEAL... Attachment based interventions... But do you or your staff have the necessary training and skills set?
This is where we can help. Far removed from a 'sitting at desks' affair, our events aim to inspire, whilst markedly enhancing your knowledge, emotional and practical resources key to effectively addressing the requirements of the above. Our delegates frequently tell us that our conferences and trainings have improved their lives as well as their work. In addition to our training days and conferences we are delighted to present part-time short courses and part time vocational trainings. Many of the latter are joint awards with our sister organisation The Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education including degrees validated by London Metropolitan University. Courses include:
Certificate in the Emotional Needs of the Child: Assessment and Action Planning
- Certificate in Counselling Skills with Children Using the Arts
- Diploma in Child Counselling (leading to nationally recognised registration with UKAPC)
- Certificate in Emotional Literacy for Children
- Diploma in Parent-Child Therapy
- Masters Degree in Emotional Literacy for Children (validated by London Metropolitan University)
- Masters Degree in Integrative Child Psychotherapy (validated by London Metropolitan University)
