Calm, Creativity and Competence: Learn Relaxation and Calming Techniques for Children and Young People

Calm, Creativity and Competence: Learn Relaxation and Calming Techniques for Children and Young People

About the Training

"The presentation was excellent, and the atmosphere relaxed enough for participants to engage with the general discussion. I enjoyed the small groups very much."

(previous delegate, 2020)

Research shows that relaxation techniques, creative visualisation and guided meditations help to regulate children's emotions and stress levels and this can dramatically enhance their capacity to access learning. On this day participants will learn the basic skills required to lead both groups and individuals through these creative processes. Participants will feel empowered to help build children's self esteem and enhance their imaginative capacities. They will learn how to support the creation of a calm, creative and competent learning environment. They will also have the opportunity to experience for themselves the calming and healing effects of guided visualisations.
