ENABLING CHILDREN AND TEENAGERS TO SPEAK ABOUT FEELINGS THROUGH ART AND CLAY

Description

This day will be an introduction and exploration in enabling children to communicate their feelings through the medium of art and clay. The day will include case examples of working therapeutically with art and clay, and experiential workshops. The day aims to support the participant to gain confidence in enabling a child to speak about their feelings through these powerful art forms.

Trainer: Roz Read

Director, MA Integrative Child Psychotherapy IATE. Senior UKCP registered child psychotherapist with very troubled children and teenagers. Also worked for years with adopted and fostered children and their families, within a multidisciplinary post-adoption support agency as well as a psychotherapist with troubled children/adolescents.
