Safeguarding: What every professional needs to know about safe practice and working ethically with children

Liz Ronan is a psychology graduate and social worker who is currently working as an Independent Reviewing Officer for Newcastle City Council. Liz previously worked in a front-line Child Protection setting making decisions around significant harm and safeguarding. Liz has also worked extensively with traumatised children and young people both as part of the therapy team at Family Futures and within CAMHS, offering therapeutic interventions to adopted children and those experiencing complex and often severe mental health difficulties.
