Research shows that relaxation techniques, creative visualisation and guided meditations help to regulate childrens' emotions and bring down high levels of stress. As a result, this can dramatically enhance their capacity to access learning.
Participants will learn the basic skills in how to lead both groups and individuals through these healing processes. They will learn how to create of a calm, creative and competent learning environment.
Participants will also learn interventions to help build children’s self-esteem and enhance their ability to be imaginative and creative. They will have the opportunity to experience for themselves the calming and healing effects of guided visualisations.
