Understanding causes, prevention and healing for people with suicidal thoughts, feelings and behaviours
Experiences of suicidal thoughts, feelings and behaviours are complex and deeply personal, often accompanied by feelings of guilt, isolation, fear of stigma and judgement.
This presentation aims to share insights into the impact on a person’s sense of self, sense of others and ways of being in the world and what can be healing. It further aims to break down barriers by challenging perceptions and stigma. The presentation will draw on findings from existing and original research, voices of lived experience and visual narratives.
