In this live stream presentation, Dr Janet Rose will outline how the use of the practical and evidence-based strategy of emotion coaching can support children’s mental health in schools. Given that children spend so much time in school, it is imperative that appropriate strategies are used that complement the work of specialists helping children in need of support.

She will briefly outline its key processes and how the day-to-day practice of emotion coaching by school practitioners, during moments when children are struggling to self-regulate, can play a key part in supporting and improving children’s behaviour, wellbeing, and resilience.
